Galboda Falls: A Walk From the Railway
about 4 km round trip · Easy · Nawalapitiya area · Central Province

Galboda Falls is a 30 m fall about 2 km from Galboda station on the Colombo-Badulla line, which makes it one of the few waterfalls in the hills you can walk to straight off a train.
Lo que va a aprender
Some trains stop at Galboda; a bus also runs from Nawalapitiya. From the station it is about 2 km to the falls. The area gets more than 4,500 mm of rain a year, so the falls run year-round, between 3 and 6 m wide depending on the season.
Take care near the railway line, and on wet rock at the falls.
