Delete your account and data
Enter the email address you used with Hike Lanka. We will send that address a confirmation link. Nothing is deleted until you open the link and confirm on the page it takes you to.
What gets deleted
- Your Hike Lanka account and profile.
- Messages and enquiries you sent us through the website, including any we filed as spam.
- Your entry in our contact address book, and any saved cart or form records.
What we keep, and why
If you have booked with us, we keep the booking and payment record but strip your name, address, email and phone number out of it. Businesses are required to retain financial records, so we cannot delete those outright. We would rather tell you that than claim a deletion we do not perform.
If you are an administrator, or a vendor with published listings, we cannot close the account automatically without breaking the site. Those requests are completed by a person within 30 days.
