Hike Lanka Trips
Long-form treks led by local guides — full-board, all-permit, small-group expeditions through Sri Lanka’s hill country, tea estates, and forest reserves. Or design a custom route with us.

Pekoe Trail Trek
A 14-day expedition across Sri Lanka’s hill country — Hanthana to Pedro Estate by way of Ella, Horton Plains, and the Loolkandura tea estates. Long days on the trail, comfortable lodges at night, and the cultural moments — temple visits, plantation tours, local food — that make the Pekoe Trail more than a hike.
What’s Included
Pricing is all-inclusive once you’re on the ground. Flights to and from Sri Lanka are not included; we’ll help coordinate timing.
Expert Guides
Sri Lankan trail leaders with route, terrain, and cultural knowledge. Most have guided the Pekoe end-to-end multiple times.
All Permits
National park and trail-access permits handled in advance — no admin on your end, no day-of paperwork delays.
Comfortable Lodges
Hot showers, clean beds, real walls. Lodges are vetted personally and re-booked across seasons.
Full-Board Meals
Three meals daily, prepared trailside or at lodges. Sri Lankan rice-and-curry, plus accommodations for dietary needs.
Ground Transport
Airport pickup, inter-stage transfers, and trek-end return all included. Private van for groups of four or more.
Cultural Experiences
Temple visits, tea plantation tours, traditional dance evenings, and village stops woven into the daily flow.
24/7 Support
Emergency comms throughout the trek. PLB-equipped on remote stages, satellite check-ins where cellular is thin.
Trip Keepsake
Hike Lanka trip shirt at the end. Small thing — but the photos at the airport are better for it.
Looking for Something Custom?
Whether it’s a wildlife-focused itinerary across Yala and Wilpattu, a hill-country tea-estate sampler, a single Pekoe segment timed around monsoon, or a multi-park expedition — we’ll design a route that fits your group size, fitness level, and travel window.
- Wildlife Treks — Leopards in Wilpattu, elephants in Yala, sloth bears in Kumana, birds across the dry and wet zones.
- Tea Country Routes — Single-stage or multi-stage Pekoe Trail walks, plantation visits, and altitude variety.
- Educational Groups — School and university trips with ecology, history, and conservation programming.
- Family or Mixed-Fitness — Routes engineered around the slowest hiker, with shorter days and softer terrain.
